With a resounding voice, the community of Scenario paintball stood together and rejected the concempt of paying for the right to post basic game details in threads.  In a thread Starthed by Capt.Malon of Team Extreme Measures, a simple thread that in a period of less then 48 hours raked in 10,470 views, and an astonishing 675 posts.  averaging more then 40 posts an hour at times, this thead proved without a doubt two things; one being that no matter what side we play on at the field, we are still all friends within the community, and the second being that PbNation is not the only forum on the net.

PbFreedom, having opened at the hands of Speedball players, boomed from 12 members to 103 members in the dwindling ours of the argumentative thread, as an influx of fed up scenaro players left after months of trying to "Fix" what they (we) viewed as a broken section of PbNation.  Now, even though the admin at PbNation have offically retractied the condemning rules that started the contavercy and apologized, the damage has been done.  TeddyMo, an avid user of PbNation stated, "Once you fire the bullet, you cant put it back in the gun..."

PbFreedom offers a home to those fed up with the big forum politics, and a return to common sense.  Many well respected members of the PbNation community have found some solace in the confines of PbFreedom, seeing it as a welcome alternative, sporting common sense and less constricting rules, being run by players, for players.  Longstanding members such as Marol, TeddyMo, and Harbinger have all logged accounts on PbFreedom, even offering support and suggestions as how to improve to suit the needs of the community that was previously established on PbNation.  Not only have these needs been met promptly, but they have been seen as a positive step forward.  Granted, this PbNation clone has no where near the population the PbNation claims, but it is growing, and with the help of a few to promote this forum, it may overshadow its predisessor in the next few years.

To help in this process, PbFreedom has chosen to officially sponsor Hooligan Tactical Squad.  Hooligan Tactical Squad will be distributing stickers, and toting PbFreedom Logos for the 2008 AND 2009 season, in hopes of helping to mend the damage done to the sacred Scenario Community. Team Owner, Wayne "Sparrow" Clough, states, "I know it will take some time to heal the damage that has been done, but we as a community have been through worse, and I think we'll come through ok.  Luckily, we've been offered a new home where we can all feel at ease, and our voice is heard more often.  Only time will tell the outcome, but hey, A little compitition never hurt anyone, right?"

Hooligan Sparrow Mutant Rebel Leader - Biowars 6/1/08

Hooligan Tactical Squad Captain, Wayne "Sparrow" Clough, Has accepted the honor of leading the Mutant Rebels into battle as a third entity in the upcoming BioWars Game Scheduled at Skirmish on 06/01/2008.

Sparrow will be in control of the Third Entity in this second Event By G-Force Productions after a daunting role as the Intergelactic Enterprises in last years Rendition of Paint The World: 1944.  PTW:'44 was a rendition of the infamous War of the Worlds, pitting Allied Forces against Invading Aliens in War Torn Germany.

Biowars, will Follow the tale of an uncharted island that is home to the town of Thorpia, a safehaven for some of the Militarys of the worlds best of the best.  Black ops, Special Forces, SAS, and others all call this place home for their retired citizens.  On the other side of the island, the Evil Corporation Bionicon, has been secretly experimenting on innocent citizens captured from around the globe, in attempts to make the worlds best supersoldiers.

Upon Losing control, the Evil Corporation calls in the Lightfoot Mercenaries, a nefarious group only interested in profit, to round up the mutants who have escaped, and eliminate the villagers who now know what is going on, and have threatened to expose them to the world.

The Townsfolk have fallen back into old routines, as they fend off the evil MERC's, and the mutants, only interested in a cure, are caught in the middle.  Who can help them and the pandas? YOU!

HOOLIGANS PASS 10k WITH RECENT ANNOUNCMENTS

Hooligan Tactical Squad has passed 10,000 hits on their web site on January 5th, 2008 at 9:34pm est.  Since the launch of their new website exactly eleven months ago on the 15th of January, more then 10,000 original hits have been recorded, with almost 3,000 of those coming since the re-launch last December 2007.
Hooligan Public Relations liaison, Major. Wayne "Sparrow" Clough, stated, "Since we decided to re-launch our new design coinciding with the release of our PCS Sponsorship announcement, we've been flooded with hits.  Our Sponsors links are showing more traffic then ever, and we couldn't be happier about it." He continues, "We work very hard to show the paint ball community that it doesn't take a large group of players on your team to make an impact, it merely takes dedication and responsibility to effect the overall outcome."
The 2008 season is lining up to be a good one for Hooligan Tactical Squad, as it is only seven days over and already big movements within the world of scenario paint ball have occurred for the team. 
With the Announcement that Hooligan Tactical Squad has been signed as the Exclusive team of PCS, they have also re-signed with Sunburst Nutritions, Evike.com, Breakers Grenades, and the Undertakers.  Their Exclusive clothing line, HooliganGear is set to debut in April, with the pre-sale of several styles and designs proving to be a success, as well as the Launch of Hooligan Productions debuting Delawares first ever Scenario Event!

Allied Russia has a NEW Iron Kurtain

With the rising of a new enemy to take the place of the old, Commanders long since dead have returned with troops in tow to replace the fallen German War Machine.  This task does not go unanswered, for it only seeks to strengthen the resolve of the Allied nations and their successful Joint Special Operations Command.

HTS Partners with NothingButNets.net for 2008 season

 Hooligan Tactical Squad will be accepting donations all season long for NothingButNets.net in an effort to save the lives of children in Africa.  We travel all over the East Coast to scenario events all year, and look for a charity to promote every year. This year we have adopted Nothing But Nets Because in the sport of paint ball, we rely on nets to secure our safety while we play, but in Africa, these kids depend on nets to save their lives while they sleep. Children are our Future, we need to secure their safety!

Hooligan Tactical Squad officially Endorced by PCS

PCS Persuit Combat systems has officially reached an endorcement deal with Hooligan Tactical Squad.  PCS, widely proclaimed as scenario paintballs greatest kept secret, has been actively seeking a team with just the right fit for their products finally accepting the sponsorship proposal worked out by Strategy Plus in East Hartford, CT.

Hooligan Tactical Squad will be donning new PCS Evasion BDU style uniforms, along with the new PCS Encounter Tactical Vests, carrying a stunning 1540 rounds in its standard configuration.  Hooligan Tactical Squad Captain, Wayne "Sparrow" Clough, commented on the arrangement with some enthusiasim. "we've been using their (PCS) equipment and markers for years, now we get to support them more then we ever hoped we could."

With a daunting schedule taking them all over the north east region and out to Oklahoma, you'll be able to see PCS and their new team in action in staple games such as Russian Front at Strategy Plus (CT), Invasion of Normandy at Skirmish (PA),  Oklahoma D-Day (OK), and the north eastern TTPL series.

 

Hooligan Productions Launches HooliganGear Cothing Line!

Hooligan Productions, The namesake sponsor of Hooligan Tactical Squad Announces the launch of its new HooliganGear clothing line for 2008, to coincide with the opening of their new eStore.

The 2008 lineup will include a variety of paintball and hooligan themed t-shirts, logo hoodies, underarmor, sweats, warmup outfits, and other various swag.  Official release date is set for February 2008, look for HooliganGear in a store near you!
